Unnecessary Debates
Many
people argue that Jesus Christ established Christianity, and that Christianity is
different from the ancient Judaism. Therefore, they shall not keep the Sabbath
Day holy.
Convincing Answers From
The Master
1.
Jesus
Christ established Christianity.
2.
The
teachings of Jesus Christ never abolished the laws of God.
3.
Jesus
Christ only gave corrections to the ancient Covenant System Of Worship
established by God .
4.
He
said, “Do not think that I came to
destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and
earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till
all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore
breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be
called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he
shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the
righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the
kingdom of heaven.”
5.
He
made it clear that He did not come to abolish the laws and the prophets. The
laws refers to the Covenant System Of Worship and the
books which contains the teachings and practices. The prophets refers to the
prophecies, teachings, corrections, messages and warnings from God, given to
humanity the ancient and modern prophets of God.
6.
In
all His debates and arguments with the chief priest, elders, rulers of the
synagogue, Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes, Jesus was only giving them
corrections on the right ways of doing things.
7.
From
time to time, Jesus Christ was referring the holy book. The only holy book in
existence when Jesus Christ was here one earth was the books of the laws and
the prophets. At that time, all the New Testament books have not being written.
8.
Therefore,
the only holy book Jesus Christ left behind for humanity were the books of the
laws and the prophets, which are also called holy scriptures or sacred
writings.
9.
The
church Jesus Christ established was a Sabbath church.
10.
Himself was a Sabbatharian. He attended Sabbath
regularly, every week without fail. That is why the holy book says, “So He came to Nazareth, where He had been
brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath
Day, and stood up to read.”
11.
As
His custom was means that He was regularly attending Sabbath every week. It was
His habit. It was His weekly routine.
12.
All
His Apostles, Disciples and Saints were Sabbatharians.
13.
The
authors of the books of the laws which Jesus Christ studied and referred often
to, were Sabbatharians: Holy Moses, Holy Joshua De Conqueror, judges, Samuel,
King David, king Solomon, Ezra, Nehemiah, etc.
14.
The
authors of the books of the prophets were Sabbatharians: Prophets Samuel,
Prophet Elijah, Prophet Elisha, Prophet Isaiah, Prophet Jeremiah, Prophet
Ezekiel, Amos, etc.
And He was handed the book
of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place
where it was written:
"The Spirit of the
Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to
the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to
the captives
And recovery of sight to
the blind,
To set at liberty those
who are oppressed;
To proclaim the
acceptable year of the Lord."
Then He closed the book,
and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in
the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, "Today this
Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."
So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which
proceeded out of His mouth. And they said,"Is
this not Joseph's son?"
He said to them,
"You will surely say this proverb to Me,
'Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also
here in Your country.'" Then He said, "Assuredly, I say to you,
no prophet is accepted in his own country.
But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah,
when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great
famine throughout all the land; but to none of them was Elijah sent
except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a
woman who was a widow. And many lepers
were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed
except Naaman the Syrian."
So all those in the
synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, and rose up
and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on
which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. Then
passing through the midst of them, He went His way.
1. All His twelve Apostles were
Israelite Sabbatharians: Apostles Simon Peter, John De Beloved, John De First, Jude, Judas Didymos Thomas, Matthew, Bartholomew,
James De First, Mathias, Philip, Andrew and James De Zealot.
15.
Even
during His burial, the Apostles, Disciples and Saints made sure that they kept
the Sabbath Day holy.
16.
We
know that God is the God of Sabbath, and that Jesus Christ is the Lord of the
Sabbath, because He said, “Therefore the
Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”
17.
During
the growth and spread of the church, the church remained a Sabbath church.
18.
The
idea of Sunday worship was never a tradition in Israel. The practice of Sunday
worship was started by the beast called, Emperor Constantine, in the year, 314 AD. Emperor Constantine was a roman
pagan, until the last day of his life. By the time he died, he completed all
the works of the antichrist, as was prophesied and written in the holy book. He
changed the laws of God, removed God’s calendar and made roman pagan calendar
public. Any person who does the works of the antichrist is certainly an agent
of Satan, even when such a person pretends to be among the congregation of
Christians.
